The problem
Bodyworn cameras collect evidentiary video in as wearable a package as possible. How to view, tag and manage videos in an easy to use way?
Actions
(Re)designed the mobile application for police officers that is the companion to their bodyworn camera. Aligned it with the Motorola design system. Optimized the design for Android, iOS (smartphone and tablet) and Windows (laptop). Optimized the connection experience to make it easy but secure. Updated the information architecture to make functions easier to find. Tested the design with end-users.
Results
A completely redesigned application that greatly improved usability, works across a variety of OS's and form factors and aligns with the Motorola design system.
