Evidence Manager Experience

Transitioning newly acquired applications.

The problem

This application was part of an company Motorola acquired and therefore has it's own UI/UX that doesn't align with Motorola Solutions' brand and design system. How to take its users on a meaning journey to where the application is consistent with Motorola's other offerings?

Actions

Performed a heuristic evaluation, performed user research, prioritized issues, created roadmap of improvement areas. For each improvement area defined and prioritized minions (see Minion Method), defined current, ideal and next iteration workflows, created lo-fi wireframes, iterated throughout with product managers and development leads. Delivered hi-fi wireframes and behavior documentation.

Results

Delivered various features, started aligning to Motorola's brand and performing user research.
